Cashew Pear Cream — Cooking with Gia and Olive

Made with only two ingredients, this is a healthy alternative to cream.

Serves: 2


  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • ½ 432 g tin of pears or 2 ripe pears, chopped
  • ½ tin of juice from the can of pears
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract or essence


Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding water to achieve preferred consistency. Use as a dessert topping instead of cream.
