So here's a public service announcement: Valentine's Day is tomorrow. Yes, I know it's over-commercialised and all that jazz but yet I do also like the sentiment of it. After all, I know I'm guilty of taking my husband for granted. We've been married seven years now and his presence is just part of the furniture. So if there's a day that reminds me to appreciate my husband for what he does, I'm taking it. Valentine's Day is not about the extravagant gestures for me—it's simply about acknowledging your partner's contribution to the relationship.
