Our homemade vegan healthy sticky date pudding recipe is the perfect winter dessert.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups self-raising wholemeal flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugarÂ
- 1 tsp cinnamonÂ
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 g pitted dates (chopped)Â
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Sauce
- 1 cup boiling waterÂ
- 1 tbsp non-dairy butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milkÂ
- 1/3 cup brown sugarÂ
- 1 tsp cinnamonÂ
Recipe
- Mix all dry ingredients together.
- Add almond milk until dough like consistency.
- Place in lightly oiled dish.
- Prepare sauce by combining all ingredients and stirring until smooth.Â
- Add sauce to dish.Â
- Cook for 25 minutes in the oven. Serve with coconut cream
